Speech Language Pathologist

Speech‑Language Pathologist Location: Reed City, MI – Virtual or In‑Person Salary: $55–$65 per hour We are seeking a compassionate, licensed Speech‑Language Pathologist to provide services within an Early Childhood Special Education program at Big Rapids, Michigan. In this role, you will help students build communication skills that support learning, confidence, and participation in the school environment. You will play an important part in shaping individualized care, partnering closely with families and school‑based collaborators, and contributing to a clinical approach that values strong outcomes and strong therapist support. Responsibilities Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide direct therapy services tailored to each client’s communication goals. Document progress notes and maintain accurate, timely clinical records. Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members. Advocate for appropriate caseloads and high‑quality therapist support. Program Overview Five kindergarten classrooms. One young kindergarten classroom. Supportive educational team. Caseload maintained between 40–45 students. Qualifications Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology. Michigan SLP license (or eligible). ASHA CCCs preferred (CFs encouraged to apply if district‑approved). Passion for helping young children develop communication skills. Compensation & Benefits 1099 employee status.
