Payroll Manager Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Payroll Manager to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $95,000 to $150,000 per year. Job Responsibilities Manage end-to-end bi-weekly payroll processing and ensure timely, accurate payments. Oversee payroll tax filings and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Review and approve payroll journal entries and general ledger reconciliations. Partner with Finance and HR teams on audits, quarterly reporting, and 10-K disclosures. Administer the HRIS system (e.g., ADP), lead upgrades, and identify process improvements. Requirements A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field. 5+ years of progressive payroll experience, and 2+ years in a leadership role. Demonstrate strong knowledge of multi-state payroll, garnishments, and wage & hour laws. Possess extensive experience with payroll systems such as ADP and related financial software. Understand SOX compliance and payroll-related internal controls in a public company setting. Qualifications Apply excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills to payroll operations. Communicate effectively across all levels of management and departments. Maintain a high level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail. Preferably hold a CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification. Speak Mandarin Chinese (preferred but not required). Century Group
