Maintenance Manager

Their South Carolina operation serves as a critical site within their composites business, producing advanced carbon fiber materials that support customers where quality, reliability, and performance are mission-critical. What you\'ll be doing: Leading, mentoring, and developing the maintenance team for a large manufacturing operation Managing daily maintenance activities while driving a strong culture of safety, quality, and accountability Developing and optimizing preventive maintenance and mechanical integrity programs Planning and coordinating maintenance support for scheduled and unscheduled shutdowns Identifying equipment reliability issues and implementing long-term corrective actions Driving capital projects and maintenance-related continuous improvement initiatives Managing maintenance planning, spare parts inventory, and resource allocation Partnering closely with operations, engineering, and site leadership to improve reliability and plant performance Supporting incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation Utilizing CMMS systems to improve maintenance planning and execution What they\'re looking for: 8+ years of maintenance leadership experience within manufacturing Strong background in preventive maintenance, equipment reliability, and mechanical integrity Experience leading maintenance technicians in a continuous manufacturing environment Exposure to capital projects and maintenance program development Experience with CMMS platforms and maintenance planning systems Strong communication, leadership, and team development skills Bachelor\'s degree in a technical discipline preferred Chemical manufacturing, composites, advanced materials, aerospace materials, fibers, or other process manufacturing experience strongly preferred Why this role stands out: Opportunity to lead maintenance for a highly specialized advanced materials manufacturing operation Critical leadership position with ownership over site reliability and mechanical integrity programs Exposure to innovative manufacturing technologies supporting aerospace and other high-performance industries Strong visibility with site leadership and opportunity to influence plant performance Backed by a financially stable global organization with significant long-term investment in the business Blend of hands-on plant involvement and strategic maintenance leadership Located in the growing Spartanburg market with access to Greenville, Charlotte, and the broader Southeast manufacturing corridor This is an ideal opportunity for a maintenance leader who enjoys building high-performing teams, improving equipment reliability, and partnering closely with operations to drive world-class manufacturing performance in a technologically advanced environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr DSJ Global
