Warehouse AssociateWarehouse associates will be responsible for the direct movement of materials and supplies for order completion and inventory control within their assigned area.Shift: 6:00am-2:30pm PSTEssential Functions and ResponsibilitiesResponsible for matching packing slips with purchase orders and receiving them into the computer.Work in production areas (Hand pack, bagging, etc.)The loading and unloading of trailers at the docks as assigned.Properly tag/label received goods.Process daily assignments accurately and timely.Meet and maintain production and quality standards.Sweep floors and maintain a tidy work area.Adhere to all company work rules.Adhere to all safety rules and practices.Maintain a positive work environment by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, co-workers and management.Other duties as assigned such as unloading containers or working in other departments.Education, Certifications, and LicensuresGood organizational and planning skills.Must be able to read and speak in English.Good work ethic and planning skills.Able to follow directions and communicate with others.Must be able to perform basic math functionsPhysical RequirementsMust be physically and mentally able to work required shift. The main job function will be unloading floor loaded containers onto pallets with given TI-HI instructions, maintain a clean work area, work with production on labeling and packing when neededLifts items up to 45 lbs or team lift if over 45 lbsHand wrap pallets with a provided film roll so that they don't fall when unloaded from the container by the forklift driverMust be able to constantly recognize product types and sizes according to provided picklist while unloading containers and report any shortages or damages to lead person.Constantly required to identify color coded safety & warning areas/notices (most colored yellow and red and some in small print) in order to maintain a safe work environmentConstantly works in an environment that includes: seasonal heat & cold; exposure to safety areas with moving equipment; dust/dirt; noise; vibrations from equipment; lighting differences; and occasional fumes.Must be able to identify and react to potential hazards.Must be able to do basic math functions.
