Operator 1, Bakery- Sanitation- 3rd Shift Location: Ontario, CA, US, 91761 Job Type: Bakery Operations About the Role We are seeking an Operator 1 – Sanitation to join our team at our bakery in Ontario, CA. As an Operator 1 – Sanitation, you will be accountable for maintaining a clean, safe, and food‑safe facility by performing daily sanitation activities that support production, quality, and regulatory compliance. Shift & Schedule Shift: 3rd Hours: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM Weekend availability: Required Compensation Hourly Rate: $23.00 – $24.00 Core Accountabilities (What You’ll Be Doing) Perform daily sanitation activities to ensure plant, equipment, and grounds meet food safety and cleanliness standards. Execute dry and wet cleaning procedures in accordance with established sanitation programs and instructions. Safely use and maintain sanitation chemicals, tools, and equipment. Complete required sanitation documentation accurately and consistently (KLEANZ forms). Manage time effectively to meet assigned cleaning schedules and productivity expectations. Maintain accountability for sanitation tools, equipment, and materials. Support sanitation leadership by completing assigned tasks and contributing to team success. Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table) High school diploma or GED. 1–3 years of manufacturing sanitation experience. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to safely use tools. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to learn multiple sanitation tasks and procedures. Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success) Experience in food manufacturing or bakery environments. Familiarity with dry and wet sanitation cleaning methods. Experience using sanitation chemicals and documentation systems.
