What We're Looking For:
- Current, active California Teaching Credential in Mild/Moderate (M/M) Special Education (required)
- Experience working with elementary-aged students, specifically supporting mild/moderate caseloads
- Solid understanding of IEP processes and best practices in inclusive education
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Committed to fostering an encouraging, accessible learning atmosphere for all students
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized instruction to elementary students according to each IEP
- Develop and adapt lesson plans and teaching strategies for diverse learners
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers, support staff, and families
- Track student progress, maintain thorough records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Employ effective classroom management to create a positive educational environment
