Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Spokane, Washington. This position involves providing specialized nursing care in a high-risk labor and delivery setting. The role includes managing labor and postpartum patients, assisting with deliveries, and supporting maternal emergencies, across various units in a short-term acute care facility. Job Details Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, FHM, NRP. Education Requirements: Valid State License (Compact license must be in hand at submission). Experience Requirement: Minimum of 1-year experience in a relevant setting. Specialty: Labor and Delivery (L&D). Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 48 hours per week. Position involves floating between units and requires experience with high-risk labor and delivery procedures, including delivery assist, sterile speculum exams, and maternal emergency management. Responsibilities include administering blood and blood products, performing neonatal and maternal assessments, providing breastfeeding support, and assisting with high-risk deliveries such as VBAC/TOLAC. Additional operational details: Must respond to scheduling requests upfront, including holiday coverage, and have references covering one year within the last three years.
