In this role, you will be responsible for pulling parts for sales orders, coordinating inventory management and ensuring accurate order fulfillment. You will work closely with technicians, product managers and the Material Control team to keep operations running smoothly. If you have experience in warehouse operations, shipping & receiving and inventory management, this is the perfect opportunity for you. Job Functions Include, But Are Not Limited To: Pick and pull parts for sales orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Assist with minor assembly tasks as needed to support shipping operations. Report inventory shortages to management and coordinate with Product Management to resolve Bill of Material errors. Work closely with the SIT Administrator to ensure timely updates and order changes. Support the Quality Assurance team with processing orders for used, returned, and demo equipment. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (certification preferred or willingness to obtain). Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment. Education and Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent is required. Minimum of 1-2 years of warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience. Experience in operating warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, is a plus. Ability to lift and handle materials up to 60 lbs. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. At Shimadzu Scientific Instruments, we believe in providing structured career paths that recognize and reward talent. This non-exempt, full-time position offers a starting salary range of $47,000 to $49,000 annually, paid semi-monthly. Eligible benefits include a 401K matching program and discretionary yearly contributions, with detailed information provided at the final interview stage. In your first year, you will receive 10 paid vacation days, 8 paid personal days, 8 scheduled holidays, and 3 floating holidays. After one year, you’ll have access to a generous short-term disability program, with premiums fully covered by the company. Employees are insured at 100% of their salary for the first 6 weeks and 66 2/3% for weeks 7 to 12. As a non-exempt role, you will also be eligible for overtime and double time pay according to employee handbook guidelines. Additional variable compensation may include a discretionary year-end bonus based on overall company performance.
