Ultrasound Technologist

Location: Granby, CO

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Day Shifts

Job Description: The Ultrasound Technologist performs two-dimensional ultrasonic recordings of internal organs for the diagnosis of disease and study of the malfunction of organs. This role is crucial in maintaining positive department patient flow while working within a Critical Access Level IV Trauma center that includes 2 clinics, 2 ORs, and a 24-hour emergency department on-site.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct ultrasound exams as per departmental protocols.
• Assist in the diagnosis of diseases by providing accurate imaging.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.
• Maintain equipment and work area to comply with safety and health regulations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• General Ultrasound experience and certification required.
• Echo experience and certification is a plus.
• Current AART registry and NBE certification for Echocardiography are mandatory.
