Dental Treatment Coordinator

Overview

Children's Dental Specialists & Adult Dentistry is seeking a dependable and experienced Dental Scheduling & Treatment Coordinator to support our growing teams in Warren and Chester, NJ. This is an excellent opportunity for a dental professional who enjoys building relationships with patients, managing productive schedules, and helping ensure patients receive the care they need.

In this role, you will be much more than the first point of contact. You will play a key role in coordinating patient care, optimizing schedules, supporting treatment acceptance, and creating a positive experience for every patient and family. We are looking for someone who is organized, proactive, confident in communicating with patients, and comfortable taking ownership of their responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

This position requires the flexibility and reliable transportation needed to travel between our Warren and Chester offices as needed by the practice.
What You'll Do

• Manage and optimize provider and hygiene schedules to maximize productivity and patient access
• Schedule new and existing patients while maintaining an efficient daily flow
• Present treatment plans and review financial options with patients and parents
• Follow up on unscheduled and pending treatment to support case acceptance
• Coordinate pediatric, general dentistry, and specialty appointments
• Verify insurance information and help patients understand their benefits and coverage
• Monitor schedule openings, cancellations, and opportunities to improve patient access
• Answer incoming calls and provide exceptional customer service
• Confirm appointments and assist with recall and reactivation efforts
• Collect patient balances and discuss financial arrangements confidently and professionally
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Collaborate closely with doctors, clinical team members, and office leadership
• Provide front-office coverage and support between the Warren and Chester locations as needed
• Identify opportunities to improve scheduling efficiency, workflow, and the overall patient experience

What We're Looking For

• Previous dental front office, scheduling, or treatment coordination experience strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of dental scheduling, insurance verification, and patient coordination
• Experience in presenting treatment plans and discussing financial arrangements
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of responsibilities
• Reliable transportation and the ability to travel between Warren and Chester as needed
• Dependable, professional, and team-focused attitude
• Pediatric, orthodontic, or multi-specialty dental experience is a plus
• Experience using Curve Dental software is preferred
• Recent graduates with relevant dental office experience are encouraged to apply

Compensation: Starting at $25 per hour, based on experience
