Phlebotomy Site CoordinatorLabcorp is seeking a Phlebotomy Site Coordinator to join our team in Bridgewater, NJ. This position will be responsible for the coordination and oversight of activities of Patient Service Centers within an assigned area. The Phlebotomy Site Coordinator will work closely with the PSC staff, management, as well as the laboratory staff and clients to ensure optimal operation of the Patient Service Center. The position will also perform phlebotomy and specimen processing procedures at LabCorp Patient Service Centers under minimal supervision.Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:30am - 3:00pm and rotating Saturdays 6:30am - 12:00pmJob Responsibilities:Observe and report any performance, compliance or staffing related issues to supervisorsManage and monitor patient flow, wait times, inventory levels and information logsMonitor monthly productivity reports and report any deviations as necessaryAddress any customer service related issues in a prompt and respectful mannerPromote team work, cohesiveness and effective communication among coworkersPerform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groupsCollect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely mannerProcess billing information and collect payments when requiredPrepare all collected specimens for testing and analysisAdministrative and clerical duties as necessaryTravel to additional sites when neededMinimum Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent1 year or more of experience as a phlebotomistPreferred Qualifications:1 years or more of experience as a people leaderAdditional Job Standards:In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agencyIn depth knowledge of phlebotomy duties, responsibilities and techniquesProven track record in providing exceptional customer serviceStrong communication skills; both written and verbalAbility to work independently or in a team environmentComfortable working under minimal supervisionReliable transportation and clean driving record if applicableFlexibility to work overtime as neededAble to pass a standardized color blindness testAt LabCorp we have a passion in helping people live happy and healthy lives.
