Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Part Time Warehouse Sorter to join our team. This entry-level role involves assisting in unloading packages and allocating them to their proper places within the warehouse. Attention to detail is crucial to ensure accuracy, as the work environment is busy and time-sensitive, with trucks leaving by 8am.

Responsibilities

• Assist in unloading packages and allocating them correctly within the warehouse.

• Ensure all packages are sorted and loaded before the 8am truck departure.

• Follow sorting sheets to determine package destinations.

• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in reading and writing English.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

• Capability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive movements such as bending and squatting.

• Strong work ethic and reliability.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in general labor, sorting, labeling, packing, and logistics is beneficial.

• Ability to operate an RF scanner.

• Team player with a positive attitude.

Work Environment

Work in a spacious and climate-controlled warehouse with a friendly team culture. The environment promotes teamwork and a positive attitude, with a focus on safety and productivity. Shifts are from 4am to 8am, Monday through Friday, with the possibility of coming in earlier.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hyde Park, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
