It is an exciting time to join our team!Mycronic is a leading global provider of surface-mount technology equipment and PCB assembly solutions. Our comprehensive product portfolio supports electronics manufacturers around the world in producing complex, high-value printed circuit boards. With a strong focus on precision, reliability, and production efficiency, our solutions help customers optimize their manufacturing processes and meet the demands of today's rapidly evolving electronics industry.Under the direction of the Sr. Manager, National Service and Aftermarket, the Field Service Engineer is responsible for providing technical expertise to customers; including working with customers to install, maintain and repair purchased products or services. This role will interface directly with customers, sales staff and various levels of management to manage, install and/or resolve system software and hardware failures, product performance issues and user quality improvements. Travel is required to perform the activities of this role and is anticipated but not limited to 50-75%. This role is located in Dallas, TX.Key ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Mycronic products on customer premises, at company facility, and via telephoneInstall and set up Mycronic PCBA Assembly systems and software products at customers' facilityProvide trade show support; including setting up equipment and installing temporary cabling as neededConduct pre-site inspection, preventative maintenance and customer care support for service contractsMaintain accurate records in field service management (FSM) software to reflect the support and repair history of equipment serviced or repairedMaintain all assigned assets (laptop / computer, phone, tools, and repair parts)Document warranty claims and return defective parts replaced during repair in a timely manner to designated depotsEstablish and maintain open lines of communication with key personnel at assigned accounts to remain current with support, repair and on-going issuesEscalate support issues to managementDevelop and maintain the knowledge and skills required to produce the highest levels of customer service supportWork closely with customers, administrative staff, and other field support personnel to provide the highest level of customer support and satisfactionMeet assigned targets and goals set by regional and area managersOther duties as assigned yet not limited to the performance of functions related to the service processes of the companyExperience and QualificationsAssociate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or at minimum three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceThree years related experience with surface mount technology, electronics and/or roboticsValid driver's license; dependable vehicleMechanical assembly and basic maintenance experience preferredProven mechanical, electrical and computer competencyExperience or training/certification in computers and Microsoft Windows environmentsWhy Join Us?At Mycronic, we love what we do, but most importantly who we do it with.
