The outlook for the company is strong as it continues to set higher goals for sustained success together.Position SummaryResponsible for supporting the manufacture of aerospace gears, gearboxes, and associated hardware by following and executing all written instructions related to the non-automated deburring, as well as standard edge breaks, specifically dimensioned edge breaks and polishing. Essential FunctionsAbility to perform precise deburringRead, understand and follow process instructionsInspect work efficientlyIdentify visually non-conforming product and report to supervisorMaintain a clean and organized work stationOperate with a sense of urgency while always focusing on safety Communicate effectively with management and employeesExcellent attitude and teamwork Experience and EducationA minimum of 2 years of work experience in an OEM aerospace deburringReasonable mechanical aptitudeHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredCertificate from vocational school or college program is a plus Competencies and SkillsExtreme attention to detailAbility to safely use high speed hand deburring toolsSkilled with basic hand deburring toolsAbility to work with magnification and enhanced lighting instrumentsAbility to utilize basic inspection tools including thread and cylindrical go, no-go and calipersAbility to understand and follow both written and verbal instructionsResults -drivenVery basic computer literacy Supervisory ResponsibilityThis position has no supervisory responsibilities. Work AuthorizationAuthorized to work in the United States without sponsorship is required. Work EnvironmentThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
