Job Overview Title: Staffing Coordinator-AOS III- Piedmont Geriatric Hospital State Role Title: Admin and Office Spec III Pay Band: 3 Location: Piedmont Geriatric Hospital Agency: Dept Behavioral Health/Develop Agency Website: Responsibilities Provide consistent staffing schedules for all nursing units to ensure a safe patient‑to‑staff ratio. Input and develop staffing schedules for nursing departments, ensuring departments have the necessary staff scheduled to maintain safety for patients and employees. Use Administrative Policy 33 (Attendance: Scheduling Rules and Procedures) to guide staffing effectiveness. Under direction of the Chief Nurse Executive: perform staffing, scheduling, replacement staffing, record maintenance, filing and attendance tracking. Demonstrate knowledge of office practices and procedures, communication with all staff, and strong data entry, typing and clerical skills. Qualifications Data entry, typing and clerical skills are required. MS Office Suite is required. Experience using MS Office Suite is required; experience with automated data systems is preferred. Prior experience in administrative duties in a fast‑paced, highly stressful environment requiring precision and detailed work is preferred. Must be able to work independently. Experience handling confidential and sensitive matters is preferred. Demonstrated ability to organize and work under pressure, balancing diverse priorities. Additional Considerations Experience in automated data systems is preferred. Previous staff scheduling experience preferred.
