Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room (ER)Join our dynamic Emergency Department team in a fast-paced environment with a focus on teamwork and efficient patient throughput.Number of Beds: 39Patient Ratios: 1:4Staffing: 1 unit secretary and 2-3 techs on the floorEquipment: Crash Carts, Level One, Alaris Pumps, Dash bedside cardiac monitorsDocumentation System: MediTechScheduling Requirements: 4-week schedules posted 2 weeks prior; preferred three 12-hour shifts weeklyFloating Policy: ER hold unit while at capacity; rare during summer monthsPatient Experience Requirements: 30-1 hour patient rounding and bedside shift reportExperience: Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room experience requiredAdvanced Skills: Ability to assist in intubation and emergency lifesaving proceduresProcedures Performed: Chest tubes, Moderate sedation, Lumbar puncture, laceration repair, blood products administrationCertifications Required: ACLS, BLS, PALSRequired uniform: Black ScrubsWe celebrate our team's achievements and prioritize an environment that fosters teamwork and excellence.
