Construction Project Coordinator

University Mechanical is currently seeking a Project Coordinator to perform the jobsite administrative duties and functions for projects in various markets including Semiconductor, Data Center Markets, Healthcare, Higher Education, Data Center, Manufacturing, and a wide range of other markets. The position requires at least 2-3 years of administrative experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following. Other duties will likely be assigned.

• The Project Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining project documentation including contract documents, subcontract documents, purchase orders, insurance certificates, safety training records, safety inspection reports, correspondence, and other project documentation.
• Receive, and distribute mail and prepare packages for shipping
• Accurately maintain various project logs and spreadsheets
• Various other administrative duties and functions that may be assigned

Position Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 2-3 years administrative experience, preferably in construction;
• Basic knowledge of Safety, Accounting, Purchasing, Subcontracts, Project Start up & Close-out, Contract, Submittals, Pre-Planning, Scheduling, Project Evaluations, Project Changes, and Operating Procedures;
• Must have demonstrated knowledge and work experience showing the ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office Programs including, but not limited to Microsoft (Excel, Word, Project, Access, & Powerpoint), Bluebeam Revu PDF editing, and Vista-Viewpoint (Project Management & Accounting Software);
