Job Summary Provides emergency medical care and transportation for patients. Performs departmental duties for CarolinaEast Health System, the EMS Department, and the EMS Manager. Current North Carolina EMT-Intermediate credentialing. Current AHA BLS. Certification. ACLS and PALS or successful completion within six months of hire. Obtain PHTLS certification within two years from hire date. Valid North Carolina driver’s license with good driving record. Demonstrate ability to drive an ambulance safely and efficiently. Obtain EVOC training within one year of date of hire. One year of experience at the EMT-Intermediate level, with a paid or volunteer rescue organization.
