Associate Attorney

Title: Environmental / Toxic Tort Attorney Location: SF, California Work Arrangement: Hybrid Employment Type: Full-Time Application Deadline: Open until Filled About the Opportunity: A leading national law firm is seeking attorneys to join its Environmental / Toxic Tort Litigation practice in San Francisco. This opportunity is well suited for attorneys interested in handling sophisticated environmental and toxic tort matters involving complex scientific, regulatory, and litigation issues. Key Responsibilities: Manage complex environmental and toxic tort litigation matters. Handle matters involving contamination, remediation, and environmental exposure. Work on cases involving PFAS, benzene, heavy metals, silica, solvents, mold, asbestos, and Proposition 65. Conduct legal research and factual investigation. Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery responses, and other litigation documents. Handle discovery, depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation. Develop litigation strategy and evaluate case exposure. Present persuasive written and oral arguments. Communicate with clients, experts, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders. Independently manage assignments and multiple litigation matters. Qualifications: 1–7 years of litigation experience preferred. Environmental, toxic tort, complex civil litigation, or related experience is a plus. Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills. Excellent communication and case-management abilities. Ability to work independently while collaborating with a litigation team. Active California Bar license and admission required.
