Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of infants and toddlers to identify developmental delays and create tailored intervention strategies.

• Participate actively in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP) in collaboration with families, educators, and healthcare professionals.

• Monitor and assess the progress of children throughout the intervention process, adjusting plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Provide support and guidance to families, helping them understand their child's needs and available resources. Facilitate family participation in the intervention process.

• Stay compliant with all federal and state regulations regarding early childhood interventions and ensure best practices in all aspects of service delivery.

• Engage with children and families to build trusted relationships, fostering a positive environment conducive to learning and development.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children aged birth to three years who are experiencing disabilities or developmental delays. Working closely with families, you will create a nurturing atmosphere to help them address diverse needs, empowering parents and caregivers to be integral players in their child's development. Your expertise will help to bridge the gap between health services and home-based learning, ensuring that children thrive in their natural environments.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work or a Doctorate in a related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) by the Department of Public Health.

• At least 2 years of direct experience working with children in early intervention settings.

• A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel as necessary to meet families in various locations.

• Strong adaptability to different families' needs and preferred learning styles for effective treatment planning.

• Demonstrated commitment to applying Natural Learning Environment Practices within intervention frameworks.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of 2 years is required, additional experience in community health settings or familiarity with early childhood education frameworks can be highly beneficial. Previous roles that required collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, as well as a deep understanding of the regulatory landscape, will distinguish candidates in the selection process.

Compensation and Benefits\n
