About Thyme is an exciting new Lebanese street bakery opening soon in Harvard Square, committed to reviving fast-casual dining with a focus on simple, real food made exceptionally well. Our menu centers around authentic Saj sandwiches, creamy labneh, fresh coffee, and vibrant matcha, all prepared using a traditional saj oven and the finest ingredients without unnecessary additions. As we grow, we are looking for a passionate and skilled Line Cook to join our friendly team and help us deliver an outstanding culinary experience to our customers. This role is perfect for someone who loves working in a fast-paced restaurant environment, appreciates the art of crafting delicious Middle Eastern dishes, and values teamwork and quality. Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to About Thyme's recipes and quality standards
Operate the saj oven and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cooking station at all times
Ensure all ingredients are fresh and properly stored to maintain quality
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
Assist with inventory management and communicate supply needs
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines strictly to guarantee customer safety

Requirements

Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role preferred
Knowledge of Middle Eastern cuisine, specifically Lebanese dishes, is a plus
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality food
Good communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and evenings
Understanding of food safety practices and hygiene standards
