Inside Sales Representative

Ontario, CA
$52,000 Base Salary + 3% Commission
Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–4:00 PM (Hours may vary based on customer demands)

About the Opportunity

Sky Staff is currently recruiting for an experienced Inside Sales Representative on behalf of one of our clients in the sports and recreation industry.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional who enjoys developing new business, building long-term customer relationships, managing projects, and working in a fast-paced environment.

Our client manufactures and supplies products for athletic and recreational facilities, including windscreens, netting, protective padding, and custom-printed solutions. Their customers include schools, colleges, athletic programs, cities, parks and recreation departments, contractors, sports facilities, and private organizations throughout the United States.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Prospect and build relationships with schools, colleges, athletic facilities, municipalities, contractors, coaches, athletic directors, and facility managers.
• Prepare estimates, proposals, quotes, and sales documentation.
• Follow up on open opportunities and customer inquiries.
• Negotiate and close sales while maintaining strong customer relationships.
• Manage projects from initial sale through completion.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure projects remain on schedule.
• Track project timelines, customer expectations, and deliverables.
• Conduct customer meetings, site visits, and presentations as needed.
• Attend trade shows, networking events, and industry functions.
• Maintain organized customer and project records.
• Meet and exceed sales goals and performance expectations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven success in sales, account management, or business development.
• Strong knowledge of sports, athletics, recreational facilities, or related industries.
• Project management experience preferred.
• Experience working with schools, municipalities, contractors, construction, manufacturing, or athletic organizations is a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software systems.
• Self-motivated, competitive, and results-driven.

Ideal Candidate
