General Summary

In collaboration with the physician, provides diagnosis and treatment of patients within the scope of practice as defined by all applicable Federal, State, and local laws, regulations, protocols, etc. and within the individual Advanced Practice Provider's (APP) particular clinical specialty area, licensure, and competency level. What you can expect at your practice: Provide per-diem support at WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital, including weekend call coverage, surgical first assist, rounds, and inpatient consults. Qualifications:

Acute Care NP or PA required. Surgical First Assist Certification not required. Experience in cardiac surgery setting required; no new graduates considered. Must live within one hour of WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital.

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

Masters Degree For Nurse Practitioner. Required or Bachelors Degree For Physician Assistant. Required Masters Degree For Physician Assistant. Preferred Work Experience:

1 year Relevant experience. Required Licenses:

Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner Upon Hire Required or Licensed Physician Assistant Upon Hire Required and Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required or Advanced Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire Required Courses and Training:

BLS and/or ACLS as appropriate for the clinical role. Upon Hire Required and Nurse Practitioner - Completion of an accredited program for nurse practitioners and appropriate clinical specialty certification.
