Job Description

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Pharmacist Opportunity in Richmond, VA

Location:

Richmond, VA (Henrico area)

Schedule/Hours:

Shift: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Week-on, week-off rotation

Responsibilities:

Accurately dispense prescriptions and counsel patients on medication usage
Review prescription orders for completeness, accuracy, and potential drug interactions
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient medication therapy
Maintain proper documentation and compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations
Manage inventory and ensure storage of medications according to standards
Provide excellent customer service and support patient needs

Qualifications:

Licensed Pharmacist with current state licensure in Virginia
Experience as a Staff Pharmacist or in a similar pharmacy role
Strong knowledge of prescription medications, pharmacy laws, and safety protocols
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
