If you have experience in phlebotomy and enjoy working in a fast-paced healthcare setting, this position provides a rewarding chance to advance your career while making a difference in patients' lives.ResponsibilitiesDraw quality blood samples from patients, including pediatric and geriatric populations, following established practices and procedures.Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing with accuracy and attention to detail.Create a comfortable and trusting environment for patients by explaining procedures clearly and confidently.Maintain required records and documentation of specimen collection and processing.Follow safety protocols and promote a professional, safe environment.Perform specimen collection and processing duties reliably, demonstrating organizational commitment and process excellence.Attend to patients with sensitivity and ensure confidentiality at all times.Support team members by performing tasks independently with minimal supervision as needed.Required SkillsProficiency in phlebotomy techniques, including pediatric and geriatric blood draws.Minimum of 6 months of phlebotomy experience in a healthcare or clinical setting.Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients.Data entry skills with keyboard proficiency.Dependable with reliable transportation to and from the worksite.Additional Skills & RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington.Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.Experience in customer service in a retail or service environment is a plus.Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime based on staffing needs.Candidates should list their home city and commute time to the job site on their resume; a commute of 20-25 minutes or less is preferred.Must be punctual, dependable, and able to stay for the entire scheduled shift.Candidates must have their own reliable transportation to the worksite; rideshare or public transportation are not considered reliable options.This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced phlebotomists to join a reputable healthcare team dedicated to delivering quality patient care.
