Job Title

Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Location

Decatur, GA | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week | Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients
• Float to the Clinical Decision Unit as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Maintain ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS competencies in accordance with department requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license — must be in hand at time of submission
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local travelers will not be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an Emergency Room setting
• Experience working in a Clinical Decision Unit or similar observation environment
• Strong adaptability and ability to float between units as needed
