Pipefitter – Machine Tool Manufacturing EnvironmentCandidate is highly experienced performing the following pipefitting activities independently with minimal supervision in a machine tool and industrial automation environment:Pipefitter Skills & ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical schematic drawingsRead mechanical assembly drawings and bills of material (BOMs)Build, thread, and install pipe headersInstall service stands, lockout valves, and related piping componentsPipe robotic systems and sealer equipmentPrepare and assemble valve packs and manifoldsRoute, install, and dress hoses and tubing to customer specificationsDrill, tap, and ream holes as required for installationPerform mechanical assembly and piping modifications during machine buildsUtilize hand tools, drill presses, grinders, and other fabrication equipment safely and effectivelyRequired ToolsPipe Wrenches (10" and 18")Adjustable WrenchesAllen Wrench Sets (Standard & Metric)Socket Wrench Sets (Standard & Metric)Channel Lock Pliers3/8" Drill MotorTape MeasureHose CuttersLevelDemonstrates the ability to work independently, maintain high-quality workmanship, and support machine build, installation, and commissioning activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
