Sr. Full Stack Java and React DeveloperSr. Full Stack Java and React Developer will be aligned to serve a Scrum team that is specific to a Domain area to modernize our legacy applications and adding new functionalities to our Global Family Office (GFO) SaaS solution.The Sr. Full Stack Developer position will independently perform coding for a particular area or function. Design and develop high quality, scalable and efficient solutions, and products on schedule. Coordinates with testing team to validate user stories and make corrections based on identified bugs. Ability to analyze legacy applications and create technical design document for application rationalization. Ensure project goals make sense and overall development objectives are being met.MAJOR DUTIES:Designing and developing components in Java and React using Springboot.Interacting with SQA teams to facilitate testing and validation of developed components.Gathering system requirements and analyzing user needsDesigning application architecture, flow charts, specification documents and writing technical stories when needed.Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented codeTesting software and implementing modernized testing featuresDebugging and troubleshooting programsSupporting junior developers and helping troubleshoot issues.Collaborating with other developers across the GFO team to create innovative software solutions. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.At least 7 years of development experience in Agile environment working within a distributed cross-functional team.At least 7 years of Java development experience.At least 5 years of React development experience.Experience with frameworks/tools like: Springboot, React, GitHub, RESTful APIs, Kafka, Solace.Exposure to monitoring tools like: Dynatrace, AppMon, Elastic SearchFamiliarity with Agile Scrum and/or SAFe methodologies. Excellent verbal and written communication, facilitation, and mentoring skills.Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to work with others effectively in teams.Able to effectively facilitate discussions and suggest alternative approaches.Experience with developing and executing plans, meeting deadlines, coordinating timelines and efforts, and operating under tight time constraints.Experience with developing, testing, and deploying software utilizing a rapid, iterative delivery method.Able to organize, moderate, and demonstrate value-added principles and practices to the teams.Experience mitigating Sonar, Checkmarx, CAST scans.Understand all facets of the software development life cycle including planning, requirements management, development, quality assurance, change management and release management.Experience with continuous integration and test-driven development practices, test automation and tools.Empowered self-starter comfortable to take the lead and manage multiple initiatives with ability to effectively collaborate across teams and departments.Knowledge and experience in tools such Azure DevOps/Dashboards and Confluence a plus.Experience in the financial service industry is a plus.Azure Cloud CertifiedSalary Range:$114,500 - 194,700 USDSalary range is a good faith estimate of base pay.
