Leasing Agent

Role Description The Leasing Agent is a full-time, on-site role based in Sacramento, CA. This position is responsible for greeting prospective residents, conducting property tours, explaining lease terms, and guiding applicants through the rental process. The Leasing Agent responds to inquiries, follows up with leads, and maintains accurate records of showings, applications, and lease documents. Daily tasks include coordinating lease signings, assisting with lease renewals, supporting property management staff, and helping ensure units are market-ready. The role also involves delivering consistent customer service, resolving routine resident questions, and collaborating with the onsite team to meet occupancy and retention goals. Qualifications Demonstrated experience with leases and lease administration, including explaining terms and completing documentation accurately. Knowledge of property management practices and residential leasing, preferably within multifamily or similar housing environments. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly, build rapport, and handle inquiries and concerns professionally. Ability to work on-site in Sacramento, CA, including some evenings or weekends as required for showings and resident needs. Solid organizational skills, attention to detail, and comfort using property management or CRM software. Basic understanding of fair housing guidelines and local rental regulations, or willingness to learn quickly. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or real estate coursework is beneficial. Previous leasing, sales, or hospitality experience is preferred but not required for highly motivated candidates.

MINIMUM 1 YEAR LEASING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.
