Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.Job SummaryResponsible for ensuring drivers comply with University parking policies and local laws on the Kennesaw and Marietta campuses. Patrols campus and remote parking facilities for parking compliance and issues driving/parking citations.ResponsibilitiesKey responsibilities include: operating a License Plate Recognition (LPR) software vehicle, issuing parking citations and applying boots as needed, educating campus community on parking rules and regulations, ensuring all parking facilities are clean and well maintained, troubleshooting issues with parking controls, maintaining required daily, weekly, and monthly reports and vehicle inspection forms, performing facility maintenance and parking event operations, maintaining cleanliness of interior and exterior assigned LPR vehicle, and assisting manager with training new employees and coaching the Student Assistant Parking Ambassadors.Required QualificationsEducational Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent. Other Required Qualifications: Current, valid and unrestricted driver's license. Required Experience: Three (3) years relevant work experience in parking, events, transit, operations, or customer service.Preferred QualificationsAdditional preferred qualifications: Previous experience in higher education and parking operations preferred.Knowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesAbilities: Able to handle multiple tasks or projects at one time meeting assigned deadlines. Knowledge: Familiarity with LPR software. Knowledge of local and University parking ordinances. Skills: Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem solving, organization, communication (verbal and written), time management, project management and presentation skills. Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (i.e. Microsoft Office suite). Strong attention to detail and follow up skills.
