Vice President, Healthcare PracticeProsek's growing Healthcare practice advises organizations across the healthcare ecosystem, from healthcare services and life sciences to health technology, diagnostics and investment. The team helps clients navigate complex business and reputational issues through strategic communications, including strengthening corporate narratives, elevating executive visibility and managing high-stakes moments.We are seeking a Vice President with deep healthcare communications experience to join Prosek's growing Healthcare practice.This person will serve as a senior account leader across a portfolio of sophisticated healthcare clients and will independently manage complex mandates, counsel senior executives and oversee high-performing account teams. The role requires someone who combines strong healthcare fluency with excellent client judgment, account management and communications skills.The ideal candidate is a seasoned healthcare practitioner who can own client relationships, lead teams and drive strategic work from development through execution, while contributing to the continued growth of the practice.What you'll be doing:Creating and leading strategic communications programs for a portfolio of healthcare and life sciences clientsServing as a senior day-to-day counselor to C-suite executives and senior communications leadersDeveloping and executing integrated communications strategies grounded in a deep understanding of clients' businesses and the healthcare landscapeTranslating complex healthcare, scientific and business issues into clear, compelling narratives and communications strategiesLeading corporate and executive media relations programs and building strong relationships with healthcare, business and financial mediaCrafting and editing executive communications, corporate narratives, messaging, presentations and other C-suite materialsManaging senior client relationships, account teams, budgets and the day-to-day execution of complex mandatesNavigating issues, crisis and other high-stakes or reputationally sensitive situationsMentoring and developing junior team members while building strong, collaborative account teamsPartnering across Prosek's FinComms, IR, Private Markets, Special Situations and other capabilities to deliver integrated counselContributing to new business, thought leadership and the continued growth of the Healthcare & Life Sciences practiceWhat makes you qualified:9 to 12+ years of strategic communications experience, preferably including significant agency or in-house healthcare communications experienceDeep knowledge of the healthcare and life sciences landscape, with experience across areas such as healthcare services, health technology, diagnostics, payors, biopharma or healthcare investingProven ability to independently lead complex accounts and counsel senior executivesStrong corporate communications and media relations experienceExperience supporting public company communications and/or financial communicationsExperience navigating crisis communications, issues management and other high-stakes reputational mattersExcellent writing, editing and presentation skills, including experience developing C-suite communicationsStrong judgment and comfort operating in complex, highly regulated and reputationally sensitive environmentsExperience managing teams and developing junior talentWhat are the perks?401(k) employer match: There is no time like the present to prepare for your future!Premium healthcare plans, including medical, dental and vision coverage: Your health comes first.Hybrid work model: 3 days in the office, 2 days from home - Pick your own schedule.2 weeks of remote work per year: You do you!Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) package, including birthday PTO: Take time to celebrate, recharge, and reset!Custom career opportunities: Choose your own adventure!Our Core Values:Chemistry, Collaboration and Belonging: Our collegial culture inspires people with different perspectives and backgrounds to work towards common goals as we brainstorm, plan and execute on behalf of our clients and to build our business together.Grit and Hustle: We work hard. An employee's salary is determined by a range of factors including but not limited to relevant experience, qualifications, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is one component of Prosek's total compensation package for employees.
