Job Title: Production Helper / Assembler
Job Description
Join our team as an Assembler, where you will be responsible for the manufacturing and assembly of industrial power systems. We are hiring for both mechanical and electrical assemblers (training provided). This position will require the use of hand and power tools and you will read blueprints and electrical diagrams for assembly. We are looking for reliable individuals are interested in learning a trade. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with medical benefits, weekly pay, and 401k while on contract.
Job Overview:

• Job title: Production Helper / Assembler (Mechanical or Electrical)
• Location: Jacksonville, FL (northside)
• Pay: $17-$19/hr (based on shift/experience)
• Shift options:
  • 6:00AM-2:30PM (M-F) - overtime available
  • 3:00PM-11:30PM (M-F) - overtime available
• Manufacturing environment (non-climate controlled).
• Manufacture and assemble industrial power systems.
• Wire electrical components according to schematics and engineering drawings.
• Utilize hand and power tools such as power drills, wire crimpers, wire strippers, screwdrivers, hammers, and tape measure.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, process sheets, and schematic drawings.
• Stand for the entire shift and work on ladders to assemble units up to 8 feet in height.

Qualifications:

• Ability to work in non-climate controlled environments is required.
• Ability to read a tape measure is required.
• Proficient in using hand and power tools.
• Wiring or mechanical skills are a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints and schematics is a plus.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing is a plus.
• Backgrounds in construction, handyman work, HVAC, automotive, and other industries are beneficial.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
