Warehouse Forklift Service Technician II Job Category: Facilities Requisition Number: WAREH047624 Posted: September 30, 2025 Full-Time On-site Locations Showing 1 location Pay or shift range: $26 USD to $40 USD Description The Warehouse Forklift Service Technician II is responsible for diagnosing and repairing forklifts and related equipment. The role includes analyzing equipment failures, recommending and executing proper maintenance and repair actions, ensuring safe and clean workshop and service vehicle conditions, documenting service calls, and complying with all safety and hazardous waste procedures. What you will be doing: Analyzes and diagnoses equipment problems and breakdowns. Recommends correct service/repair actions to resolve equipment performance issues. Performs appropriate equipment repairs or modifications to solve operating and performance problems as determined by analysis. Follows all scheduled maintenance procedures and policies. Documents each service call, providing necessary paperwork. Observes all safety procedures and ensures hazardous waste is properly disposed. Maintains service vehicles in a clean, orderly and hazard-free manner, performing regular maintenance such as oil changes and tire rotations. Secures and maintains service and parts inventory in the company service vehicle. Provides well-maintained personal tools required to effectively perform equipment service duties. Keeps the work area clean and hazard-free. Other duties as required and assigned. Requirements: High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency. Minimum 3 to 5 years related experience and/or training with mechanical, electrical and hydraulic equipment. Experience with repairing forklifts. Technical or mechanical training/certifications preferred. Valid driver’s license. Ability to understand service and training manuals, interpret schematics, and effectively use electrical diagnostic instruments.
