Physician Assistant - Orthopedics

Trinity Health Mid Atlantic - St. Mary Medical Center is looking for a full time Physician Assistant to join our Orthopedic practice in Langhorne, PA . Ortho experience preferred. The PA will provide coordination, planning and implementation of health-related services that best meet the needs of patients and their families as a Physician Assistant. Incorporate education plans into daily patient activity while integrating primary and secondary diagnosis. The APP will assume accountability for managing the delivery of patients and act as a patient advocate and uphold patient's rights. Will work in a collaborative team environment; consulting and referring to other Health Care professionals in our health system. At times asked to perform as a preceptor to PA's. Practice/Responsibilities: APP will work as a Physician Extender, working with all orthopedic specialties. APP will see new patient s , Post-Op, Follow up and Injection visit types. Schedule is 4 shifts per week. APPs takeprimary call 1:4 weekdays/weekends rotations; Physicians cover secondary call. Includes weekend rounding.
