Quality Inspector - 1st shift

We are currently looking for a Quality Inspector in our Production area at Forest, MS. This is an onsite role. What You Will Do Conduct in‑process and final inspections of electronic and mechanical assemblies to determine product quality and acceptability of inspected items. Perform test witnessing and test data verification to ensure functionality of deliverable units. Raise notifications of non‑conformance, quarantine non‑conforming product, and, when approved, provide scrap or standard rework disposition. Review drawings and process requirements to support compliance of production items to technical data packages. Interpret and adhere to quality standards, specifications, and procedures. Use measurement tools and equipment to verify product dimensions and quality. Document inspection results and maintain detailed records; keep inspection stamp. Maintain flexibility around shifts for training and workflow, including overtime. Identify and report defects, deviations, and non‑conformities. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues. Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action processes. Perform administrative tasks related to file management and material control. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality. Qualifications You Must Have High‑school diploma (or equivalent) or vocational/technical education in a related discipline. Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in product inspection or manufacturing quality assurance. Experience working in a manufacturing or depot repair environment. Experience reading drawings or blueprints. Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued security clearance (DoD Secret). U.S. citizenship required. Qualifications We Prefer Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications. Experience with basic inspection hand tools (calipers, micrometers, inspection scopes, etc.). Experience in a quality inspection role. Knowledge of quality control principles, tools, and techniques. Excellent attention to detail, problem‑solving skills, and organization. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Basic computer skills, including SAP and CMES. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Shift 1st Shift – 7:00a.m. to 3:30p.m. Security Clearance Security Clearance: Must be eligible to obtain a U.S. government‑issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
