Job Details Draft and negotiate design, engineering, consulting, construction, right-of-entry, access, and project closeout agreements. Advise owners and developers on construction claims, project risk, contractual remedies, and dispute avoidance. Resolve construction-related disputes outside formal arbitration and litigation. Apply New York construction case law and New York Lien Law to active projects and claims. Support client education, business development, mentoring, and practice-group initiatives. Candidate Profile At least five years of significant construction-law experience in a law firm. Substantial owner- and developer-side experience involving commercial and residential projects. Exceptional contract drafting, negotiation, communication, and academic credentials. J.D. from an accredited law school; active and good-standing New York Bar membership.
