Our organization is seeking a full-time neuro-oncologist to join the Department of Neurology at the University of Chicago. Positions are available at various academic ranks, with salary and rank determined by qualifications. • Join a developing neurosciences service line, providing care across our expanding clinical network.
• Practice locations will include Hyde Park, featuring our new standalone Cancer Hospital, as well as outpatient care facilities in Northwest Indiana, the southern suburbs of Chicago, and downtown Chicago.
• Engage in clinical duties that encompass both outpatient and inpatient services.
• Participate actively in educational and research initiatives, including mentoring fellows, residents, and medical students.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team focused on brain tumor therapies, working alongside experienced professionals in neurology, neurosurgery, radiation oncology, and medical oncology.
• Leverage institutional expertise in oncology drug development, clinical pharmacology, immunology, and pharmacogenomics.
• Contribute to research activities, including clinical trials, utilizing the resources available in the Department of Neurology and the UChicago Cancer Center to initiate and conduct innovative neuro-oncology trials.

• A medical doctorate or equivalent degree.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Illinois and Indiana.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency in neurology.
• Board certification or eligibility in neurology.
• Completion of a neuro-oncology fellowship and eligibility or certification from UCNS in neuro-oncology.
