Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $23 - $23 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Laser Operator:

• Set up and operate CNC laser machines to cut, etch, or pierce metals

• Interpret blueprints, production orders, and specifications to ensure parts meet required dimensions and tolerances

• Must be able to plan and layout cutting sequence, referring to drawings and blueprints

• Request assistance on large or heavy sheet metal blanks

• Setup up materials in performing cutting operations

• Requires aligning, fitting and/or rework pieces that fail inspection

• Performs other duties as assigned by manager

• Select and install correct lenses, make machine adjustments to accommodate different materials and thicknesses

• Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, or other tools to ensure accuracy

• Perform routine maintenance on the laser and report any issues or malfunctions

• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day)

Job requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady

• Manufacturing production machinery experience preferred, but not required

• Quality conscious and possess ability to meet production and quality standards

• Ability to multitask, show flexibility, and have great attention to detail

• Background check and drug test required
