As a Security Officer Patrol Steward in Houston, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. This unarmed role offers the chance to support daily operations through strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, entry points, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor the movement of people, vehicles, and/or deliveries entering and leaving the location, following post orders and reporting discrepancies, damaged property, or suspicious behavior.
• Support daily operations by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with directional questions, and completing required reports related to security-related incidents and/or patrol activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
