As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver Clearance Required in Houston, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This is an armed and driving post where professionalism, responsiveness, and sound judgment matter. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting activity and communicating with site contacts and/or local law enforcement as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns according to post instructions.
• Support Allied Universal and site personnel during emergencies, special events, and/or high-traffic periods while maintaining professionalism and attention to post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A minimum of 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience is required, or a college degree is required.
• An armed guard card and/or license is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• An active DoD Top Secret clearance is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
