Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• Experience with Meditech is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• No current placement allowed at Program: TrioWFS Program - Lima Memorial Hospital.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Must be competent with cardiac medications (Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Heparin, Cardine, Dobutamine, Lasix, Bumex) and have knowledge of titration and application of these medications. Must be competent in telemetry and possess knowledge of heart rhythms. Must possess knowledge of signs and symptoms of stroke, recognize change in patient status, and intervene.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. No call.

Floating Requirements: Expected to float to units within scope of practice and skill set if needed.

14 days maximum time off

2 Manager/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years
