Abbott seeks a Clinical Specialist for Cardiac Rhythm Management in Charleston, SC to provide comprehensive engineering, sales, educational, and technical support to physicians and healthcare professionals. The role serves as a clinical interface between the medical community and the business, responding to field inquiries and facilitating training on CRM products.

Responsibilities

• Act as clinical interface between medical community and business regarding CRM products
• Build and sustain credible business relationships with customers and demonstrate product expertise
• Provide engineering, sales, education, and clinical support in response to field inquiries
• Develop, lead, and facilitate training sessions on CRM products for healthcare professionals
• Provide backup support to CRM sales representatives and manage multiple assignments simultaneously

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering, related field, or equivalent healthcare experience
• Minimum 2+ years related experience or accredited cardiac training program certification
• Demonstrated knowledge of cardiology, electrophysiology, or cardiac electrophysiology procedures
• Familiarity with catheterization lab and operating room procedures and protocols
• Advanced knowledge of cardiac pacing systems
• Strong written and verbal communication with excellent presentation and analytical abilities
• Extensive Microsoft Office and personal computer skills for developing presentation materials

Compensation: $61,300–$122,700 base
