Cath Lab Tech - Travel Job

Earn full time pay and benefits while you assist physicians and other Cath lab personnel in conducting vital diagnostic tests and procedures; and operate advanced medical equipment to capture crucial images and data of the heart and blood vessels.

What You'll Need:

• ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) preferred.
• Must have 2 years' experience in a Cath Lab hospital setting
• BLS & ACLS Certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• State specific licensing when required
• ARRT(R) with NJ license or RCIS accepted
• NJ license must be in place prior to start
• Experience as a room circulator and ability to scrub and maintain sterile field
• Experience in a diagnostic cardiac cath lab and interventional radiology
• Experience with equipment set up, EKG lead placement, prep access site, recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias, stocking supplies, and sterile technique
• Experience with angioplasty and endovascular interventions
• Experience with ASD closures, cardiac implant closure device, and stent placement

Assignment Details

• 3x12-hour shifts.
• Hours: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM.
• Holiday requirement: Work 2 of the 3 holidays.
