Shift & Schedule: Variable 12-Hour Shifts | Night: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Day: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | 36 Hours/Week

Pay Rate: $1,500 - $2,500/Week (Based on Experience)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist specializing in Pediatrics and/or critical care to provide respiratory care across NICU, PICU, Adult ICU, and other units.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Level 3 or 4 NICU or PICU experience required.

• Trauma experience required.

• Alaska State license; pending license accepted, but license must be in hand for an Auto Offer.

• BLS and CRT certifications required.

• ACLS, NRP, PALS, and RRT strongly preferred.

• Experience with advanced ventilators, including Puritan Bennett, Draeger, and Servo-I preferred.

• Permanent address must be more than 50 miles from the facility.

• Weekend availability required, including Christmas holiday coverage.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care across NICU, PICU, Adult ICU, and floor therapy.

• Perform NIV, high-flow nasal cannula, nebulizer treatments, CPT, Nitric Oxide, and Flolan nebulization.

• Operate advanced ventilation equipment, including Draeger, Servo-I, 3100A/3100B, and Jet ventilators.

• Participate in trauma care within a Level II Trauma environment.

• Float across units within scope based on staffing needs.

• Maintain accurate patient documentation using Epic.
