Night shift from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week.
Job Description
Join our dedicated team in the Geriatric Psych unit at Mission Hospital. This unit focuses on providing compassionate and effective care to geriatric patients in need of behavioral health support. You'll have access to various equipment including vital signs machines, Hoyer lifts, glucometers, and more while utilizing Cerner as the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and monitor vital signs.
- Assist with rapid response and code blue situations.
- Perform bladder scans and blood draws.
- Work collaboratively with a team of RNs and Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs).
Required Experience
- Behavioral health and medical experience preferred.
- Experience caring for geriatric patients is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Certifications/Licensure
- Current BLS certification required.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina.
