Support adults with mental illness while enjoying a consistent weekday schedule: Monday–Friday, 3 PM–11:30 PM. Teach Life Skills: Guide residents in developing practical skills like cooking, cleaning, symptom management, and problem-solving. Qualifications Minimum Requirements Education: High school diploma or equivalent (no college degree required). Heartsavers CPR Certification: Must obtain Heartsavers CPR certification within 90 days of hire and maintain it for continued employment. Level 1 Medication Aide (LIMA) Licensure: Complete the licensure course and exam within the first 90 days of employment. Certification must remain current per the Missouri Department of Health & Senior Services (DHSS). Driver’s License: Obtain a valid Class E Missouri or Kansas driver’s license. Must be comfortable and competent operating a 15‑passenger van within 3 months of employment and obey all traffic laws while on duty. Family Care Registry Clearance: Successfully clear the Family Care Registry background check. Training: Complete all required training as outlined during orientation and by leadership within established timelines for continued employment. Preferred Qualifications Lived Experience: Personal lived experience with recovery from mental health or substance use disorders is valued in our setting. Patient Care Experience: Preference for candidates with documented experience assisting patients with activities of daily living (e.g., home health or residential experience).
