Food Runner – St. Patrick’s Steakhouse Location: 15022 Lincoln Ave, Dolton, IL 60419 Position Overview At St. Patrick’s Steakhouse, Food Runners are an essential link between the kitchen and the dining room. Food Runners ensure that dishes are delivered to guests promptly, accurately, and with care. They must move quickly, communicate clearly, and maintain the quality and presentation standards our guests expect. Key Responsibilities Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests’ tables quickly and accurately. Ensure proper presentation, portion, and temperature of all items before delivering. Assist servers with table maintenance, including pre-bussing and resetting tables. Communicate clearly with kitchen staff, servers, and expo to ensure smooth service. Confirm that guests have everything they need after food delivery (condiments, extra napkins, etc.). Handle food carefully to maintain plating and avoid spills or messes. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the expo line and dining room support stations. Assist with running side work as assigned by management. Help communicate guest feedback to servers or managers when needed. Requirements Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred, but not required. Ability to move quickly and stay organized during busy shifts. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Positive attitude and professional demeanor. Must be able to stand and walk for long periods and carry trays weighing up to 25 pounds. Must maintain a polished, professional appearance at all times. Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
