Registered Respiratory Therapist - Night Shift
We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist with a focus on adult critical care and emergency response. This position is ideal for candidates with at least one year of experience in similar settings. As a critical member of the healthcare team, the successful candidate will provide respiratory care in a dynamic environment.
Schedule
This is a night shift position working 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30), with weekend shifts required.
Required Experience / Certifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in adult critical care or emergency departments
- Certifications: BLS, RRT
Responsibilities
The Registered Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for:
- Administering respiratory therapy to patients in critical care
- Performing intubations and extubations
- Managing respiratory equipment including BiPAP, CPAP, and mechanical ventilation
- Conducting sputum specimen collection and tracheostomy care
- Working closely with the interdisciplinary team to deliver optimal patient care
