Electrical - Mechanical Technician

Location: Aurora, CO or Albuquerque, NM (Onsite)

Duration: 2 month Project Assignment

Pay: $21–$25/hour (Based on Experience)

Start Date: ASAP

Join a team supporting large industrial equipment installations where you'll work alongside experienced technicians, receive on-the-job training, and develop skills related to power systems, solar technology, telematics, and equipment integration.

As a Temporary Installation Technician, you'll support a specialized equipment installation project involving:

• Installing solar panel components on heavy equipment
• Assisting with telematics and tracking system installations
• Applying load and equipment identification tags
• Using hand tools, heat guns, and installation equipment
• Following technical instructions and installation procedures
• Troubleshooting basic mechanical and electrical installation issues
• Working independently while collaborating with experienced technicians and supervisors

Experience:

• At least 1 year of mechanical, electrical, technical, or installation experience
• Trade school students, graduates, or individuals pursuing engineering studies are encouraged to apply
• Basic understanding of wiring, voltage, electrical systems, or mechanical equipment
• Comfortable using hand tools and following detailed instructions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
• Reliable, self-motivated, and eager to learn
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform physical work throughout the day
• Hands-on experience with solar technology and telematics systems
• Direct mentorship from senior technicians
• Exposure to large-scale industrial equipment
