Part Time Floor Leader - Memorial City Mall Houston, Texas, United States Weekly: 20-29 hours As a Floor Leader, you will support the Store Management Team across all areas of the business. Your role includes driving sales, opening and closing the store, analyzing sales results, and leading training sessions. You will work with fellow leaders to ensure operational excellence and an exceptional customer experience for both customers and staff. Your day‑to‑day will be spent on the shop floor, where you will lead and inspire a team of sales associates to achieve and surpass their goals. Responsibilities Driving Sales: Use the StoreForce dashboard to coach and provide feedback to the sales team, adjust shop floor structure to meet and exceed sales goals, and grow the contribution of your segments to overall sales. Celebrate achievements with the team. Customer Experience: Lead by example in delivering a world‑class customer experience, including product demonstrations. Observe consultations, collaborate with the team, and strive to exceed daily sales goals. Building the Brand: Educate customers on Lush brand values and articulate our positions on fighting animal testing, freshest cosmetics, ethical buying, 100% vegetarian, handmade, and naked packaging through store engagement and community initiatives. Product Passion: Continuously deepen product knowledge and consistently make informed product recommendations for all customer needs. Team Involvement Development: Train and coach Sales Ambassadors and peers on effective sales techniques and product knowledge to improve performance, support growth, and increase sales. Lead by example, take ownership of development, assess performance, and seek feedback. Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging: Encourage open communication, actively listen to perspectives on DEIB, foster belonging through teamwork, collaboration, and recognition of unique contributions. Operational Excellence Cash Handling and Store Opening/Closing: Manage cash handling, opening/closing the register, reconciling cash drawers, preparing nightly deposits, and securing the store. Take deposits to the bank when required. Time and Attendance: Lead by example in attendance and punctuality, monitor employee breaks, and promote a healthy work environment. Review daily communications to keep the team informed and prepared. Visuals and Merchandising: Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store to enhance the shopping experience and drive sales. Stock and Inventory: Train the team on inventory best practices and fresh standards, support inventory tasks, and adjust product displays in real time based on sales. Policies and Procedures: Support the management team to maintain compliance with company standards for opening/closing, product integrity, respectful workplace, and health and safety. Qualifications Required Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service and sales Experience in cash handling and opening/closing procedures Supervisory experience involving coaching, feedback, and training Problem‑solving skills related to customer service in day‑to‑day operations Experience in a fast‑paced team environment Knowledge and passion for skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business practices Flexible schedule to accommodate store needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Preferred Experience with consultation‑based customer service models Experience analyzing sales metrics Experience in the skincare or cosmetics industry Experience in cross‑cultural collaboration and DEIB or social justice training Fluency in Spanish, French, or other languages Memorial City Pay $16.50 - $16.50 USD As set forth in Lush Handmade Cosmetics’s Equal Employment Opportunity policy, we do not discriminate on the basis of any protected group status under any applicable law. #J-18808-Ljbffr
